Get a valuationLittlehampton is the westernmost of the towns we cover — the mouth of the river Arun, a long sandy beach, a regenerated harbour area, and a working East Beach where the fishing boats still come in. It's the cheapest of the coastal towns by some way and the regeneration work over the last decade has noticeably improved the centre.
Housing is mixed: Victorian and Edwardian terraces near the station, post-war estates on the edges, newer apartment developments along the harbour and around the East Beach Café (an East Beach landmark by Thomas Heatherwick). Wick, on the west side of the river, is more residential with older family homes. South Terrace and the seafront have the higher-end stock.

Renters whose budget would be tight in Worthing or Brighton and who want a real seaside town rather than a city.
