Durrington is Worthing's northern edge — a largely 1930s-onwards family neighbourhood between the South Downs and the A27, with good schools, a station, and easier-to-afford housing than the seafront.

Free and no-obligation — a realistic figure from real local lets, not a quote to win your business.
Get a valuationDurrington runs along the foothills of the South Downs at the northern edge of Worthing. The housing is mostly 1930s and post-war family homes — semis and detached houses on quiet streets — with newer estates filling in toward the A27. The downs are immediately to the north, with footpaths up to Cissbury Ring and beyond.
Less character than the Edwardian streets closer to the seafront, but more space per pound — driveways, garages, larger gardens. The high street along Salvington Road has a Co-op, takeaways, and a couple of pubs; for fuller shopping most residents head to Worthing town centre or Goring.
