Offington is the residential pocket between Broadwater and Durrington — interwar semis on quiet curved streets, the Offington roundabout at the centre, and a quietly suburban feel that's a 10-minute drive from the seafront.

Get a valuationOffington takes its name from the now-demolished Offington Hall and the Offington roundabout at the junction of the A24 and A27 — though most of the neighbourhood lies west of the roundabout itself, on the quieter residential streets of Offington Avenue, Offington Lane and Offington Drive. It's bordered by Broadwater to the south and Durrington to the west.
Housing is overwhelmingly 1930s semis with bay windows, gables and front gardens — big enough for off-street parking, with rear gardens larger than central Worthing equivalents. Some larger detached houses sit toward the top of the slope on Offington Lane. The neighbourhood is quiet by design — minimal through traffic, no high street of its own, with residents heading into Broadwater village or central Worthing for shops.

Vale Primary, Whytemead and Springfield are the closest state primaries. Worthing High School is the catchment state secondary.
Renters who want a quiet residential street with a parking space and a back garden, willing to drive or take a short walk to the station. Popular with families upsizing from central Worthing, commuters who use the A24, and downsizers wanting an easy-to-manage 1930s semi. Less buzzy than the seafront neighbourhoods but better value for the same money.

Broadwater sits just north of central Worthing — a big, settled village core wrapped in family streets, with a green at its heart and some of the most-requested primary schools in town.
Charmandean sits on the slope rising north-east of Broadwater — 1930s semis and detacheds on broad curving streets, big gardens, and panoramic views back toward the sea on a clear day.
Findon is an inland village in the South Downs above Worthing — a flint-and-brick high street, sheep-fair tradition still alive, and family houses set against open downland. Higher rents than central Worthing, but the trade is countryside on your doorstep.
Findon Valley is the suburban shoulder between Worthing's northern edge and Findon village proper — south of the A27, family-sized housing, walking access to the South Downs, and noticeably more space per pound than central Worthing.
