Shoreham-by-Sea station has direct trains to Brighton (12 minutes), Worthing (8 minutes), Gatwick (40 minutes) and London Victoria (1 hour 13 minutes). The A27 runs along the north edge; the A259 along the seafront. Brighton's airport (Shoreham Airport) is on the western edge — small but operational. Cycling along the seafront prom to either Worthing or Hove is genuinely viable.
